She moved to Charlotte along with her husband and two daughters in September of 2022. In the years before getting married, having kids and becoming at SAHM, Meg was very education and career-focused. Straight out of high school she attended Salisbury University, where she studied Creative Writing and graduated with her Bachelor's in English. After graduation she was feeling burnt out, so she entered the restaurant industry. During her time in food service she learned many things, and eventually worked her way up to becoming Food and Beverage Manager for a resort in Ocean City, MD. It was also during this time that she went back to college to get a second degree in Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Management. Naturally, creating a family can change all of that in an instant.Meg became a SAHM in 2017 and continues down that path today. During her time at home with her kids, she has also rediscovered her love of writing. Meg also discovered during this time that it is her goal in life to inspire those around her, and to live a life that she can proud of. To help her achieve these goals, she created her blog Meg Flint. In this space, Meg discusses all things related to motherhood, womanhood, food, fun and mental health. When Meg isn't taking care of her family or writing for her blog, you can find her in the kitchen cooking her favorite meals. She also loves going out and exploring new places, including restaurants and coffee shops around Charlotte. If you would like to follow along, you can also find her on Instagram under @meg.flint.official and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/themegflint.Tara grew up in Ohio where she met her husband. Tara’s favorite things to do now are to go on family fun adventures and seek out unique experiences – outdoor adventures preferred. Most recently she has started to dabble in gardening as a new hobby. She also loves spending time watching her 8 and 9 year-old boys play rugby and lacrosse. When she is not with her family, she works as a Project Manager for a software company. To help her get through the crazy days she has learned not to take herself too seriously. My top goals as a doula are to help couples manage their expectations so they make informed decisions to insure that they have no regrets throughout the birthing process. I was certified as a doula in 1996 while being pregnant with my fourth child. I worked full time the next nine years assisting in hundreds of births. A cross country move from AZ brought our family to NC. I remained involved as a doula by holding monthly Baby Talk meetings and participating in a handful of births per year while I grew my real estate business. Adore Realty was born (see what I did there?) in early 2017. Its interesting to help people through some of their big, life altering, stress filled times of their life, buying/selling their home and having a baby! If you're growing a family and needing a bigger home, I am here for it all! I also authored a book entitled Daddy Doula and followed up with an ecourse of the same name. In my experience, fathers have been neglected in the birthing process and my desire is to educate them on the process with tips, tricks and knowledge. Their emotional support is just as important to the physical demands that a mom might experience delivering a child.Anna Braksick is a proud mother of two lovely girls, aged 4 and 2.
